To all our clients and colleagues, we thank you all for the incredible work you have done this year and wish you a truly restful Christmas & New Year.
In a year that was beyond tough we thought we’d share a few of our favourite good news stories:
- More than 41.3 million COVID vaccine doses were administered in Australia – 8.47 billion COVID vaccinations administered globally
- 4 year old Cleo Smith who went missing in Carnarvon, WA was found alive and well.
- The Great Barrier Reef is in a ‘recovery’ phase with conditions improved for coral regeneration during 2020-21.
- Cancer survival rates continue to improve and we are on track to eliminate cervical cancer.
- Telehealth has been approved for another 4 years.
- Digital Health adoption took another massive leap forward with electronic prescriptions now also part of our new normal.
For so many it has been an incredibly challenging time due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic on our daily lives.
Team #TrainITMedical answered distress calls from our colleagues who were under immense strain and most of us went back to daily work onsite managing vaccine clinics.
Our team ‘pivoted’ to the point where we felt our heads were spinning, were all in lockdown so much of the year, yet still managed to achieve these impressive stats:
- Bp Premier system conversions = 19
- Online training sessions for individual practices = 472
- Onsite training and consulting days = 175
- Webinars = 45 (with over 6,000 attendees). Many of these were led by our incredible #TrainITMedical nurses Marg & Michelle 🙏🙏 and we were absolutely thrilled to co-present with organisations such as the Heart Foundation, the Lung Foundation and of course Cubiko.
- Users now registered and accessing our free and paid online courses via courses.trainitmedical.com.au – 6339! Thank you for your support of our work.
Again this year we worked with Aboriginal Medical Services in QLD, NSW, Victoria and WA on a broad range of initiatives including technology adoption, review and many assignments focused on improving use of clinical systems and tools. We are proud to have been part of the Redfern AMS team who won the PEN CS Closing the Gap Award for the use of technology to support continuous improvement for the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Inner city area of Sydney.
