Having an accurate health summary recorded for your regular patients is a general practice standard.

If your practice is accredited you may be eligible to receive a payment for uploading health summaries to your patients’ My Health Record should they want this.

Approximately 5 shared health summaries per GP per practice per quarter need to be upload to meet the payment criteria.

In 2018 the My Health Record Expansion program (commonly called ‘opt-out’ will see all your patients contacted about their My Health Record.
