Philosophy
We care about the patients AND we care about the people that provide health care and services for them.
At Train IT Medical we believe:
- Using technology should enhance patient care, not detract from it.
- Education is important.
- How you learn is important. Learning as you go is great but often leaves you with a sense of perhaps there are vital steps you are missing or shortcuts which could make your life easier.
- How training is delivered is important. Not all computer people make good teachers!
- Learning should be enjoyable, personally relevant and progressive.
- Competence and confidence go hand in hand.
- Information management is now an important part of any medical practice.
- You can collect good quality clinical notes in the consultation and still ‘connect’ with your patient.
- Investing in training will lead to increased job satisfaction for your staff.
- Happier staff help make happier patients.
- Training pays for itself.
- Training is its own form of ‘preventive health’. ‘Lack of training’ often gets the blame when there are ‘adverse outcomes’ and medico-legal cases.
- Reflecting, evaluating as a team, upskilling – continual processes that, when implemented well, lead to continual improvement.
